Glad to illuminate! The series are on very different timelines and it's very confusing. (And unfortunately, if you actually take the advice I give in the post and read everything in chronological order, it's weirdly emotionally inconsistent; all of Scottish Prisoner takes place more or less between paragraphs of Voyager, and the already-tenuous emotional sense of John and Jamie's relationship becomes even more perplexing.)
