Definitely agreed: it's a movie that is at all times aware of power and the delicate (and sometimes extremely indelicate) balance of it. And I appreciated especially that the film did this while never sacrificing its characters' humanity; they never became caricatures or conduits for a certain idea, but they were so messily human in all their navigation and manipulation.
